Judy Kay McCullough

May 2, 1939 — March 31, 2025

Cedarville, Ohio

We gather here today to celebrate the life of Judy Kay McCullough, who passed peacefully at home in Cedarville, Ohio, on March 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 2, 1939, in Topeka, Kansas, Judy brought joy and warmth to everyone she met during her 85 remarkable years.

Judy dedicated 33 years of her life to serving as an administrative assistant for the Base Supply at DESC as part of the United States Government. Her dedication, organization, and ability to connect with others made her an invaluable member of the team. She was known for her unwavering work ethic and the kindness she extended to her colleagues.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Judy had a spirited personality that drew people together. She loved social gatherings, often filling the room with laughter thanks to her good sense of humor. She cherished each moment spent with family and friends, sharing stories, smiles, and memories that will forever resonate in their hearts.

Judy had an undeniable love for animals, especially dogs. Her passion for caring for them was evident to all who knew her. She often recounted fond moments of her life spent nurturing and enjoying the companionship of her furry friends.

Her hobbies were wide-ranging and sparked joy in her life. She was dedicated to her Bible Study, finding great meaning in the book of Revelations. Judy's adventurous spirit led her to explore new places, all while enjoying simple pleasures like watching her favorite television series, *Gunsmoke*. Her competitive spirit shone through while playing cards, especially Rummy, where she imparted her skills to her grandchildren, who looked up to her fondly.

Judy’s proudest accomplishments were her beloved family and grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Jim Carroll, and Mike (Laura) Carroll, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Kayla, Trece, Alyssa, Brian (Kelsey), Daniel (Ali), Brad (Morgan), and Joe (Sophie) and her travel and life companion Charlie Eddy. Judy took immense joy in each of their lives, and her great grandson Auggie brought her particular delight.

She now rejoins her late husband David, with whom she shared over 30 years of marriage, her parents Harry and Mary Underwood, and her sister Lona. Their memories will forever be a source of comfort in the hearts of her loved ones.

A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek, Ohio, on April 7, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
