Judy L. Hoover
December 6, 1942 — March 24, 2013
Judyth Lea Shear Hoover, age 70, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 24, 2013. Raised in Sciotoville, Ohio until her marriage in 1962, where she resided in the Dayton area her whole adult life. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Velma Shear.
She is survived by her husband, Jim, of 50 1/2 years; two sons, Kevin Hoover, and Donald (Stephanie) Hoover, the love and joy of her life; grandsons, Jacob and Nathan, all of Dayton; one sister, Linda (Charles) Crawford of Murfreesboro, TN; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
She worked 15 years with the U.S. Census Bureau, leaving in 1982. Judy enjoyed many years of retirement with her husband, traveling, and camping through the years. She was a long time member of Christian Life Center, where she served her Lord for many years. Judy was a Charter Member of the Englewood Aglow.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mission Fund at CLC.
