Judy A. Johnson

November 25, 1941 — December 11, 2024

Fairborn

Judy A. Johnson, a soul known for her kindness, sass, and unwavering support, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 25, 1941, in Springfield, Ohio, Judy’s life was woven with love, laughter, and cherished relationships.

Her journey through life was marked by a variety of career paths, though her favorite and most fulfilling role was that of a devoted mother. Judy's nurturing nature extended far beyond her own children; she took immense pride in encouraging and supporting her grandchildren, whose accomplishments brought her immeasurable joy. She was extremely proud when her children and grandchildren excelled, particularly when both of her sons honorably served in the Marines.

A graduate of Fairborn High School in 1961, Judy enjoyed learning throughout her lifetime often surprising her children and grandchildren with her knowledge of current events, sports trivia, and history. She found delight in various hobbies, including watching cooking shows, reading, and tirelessly tackling word puzzles. Recently, she began teaching herself to draw, a testament to her animated spirit. Her commitment to her faith was equally steadfast, as she took solace in worship songs and scripture.

Judy's personality was a delightful blend of humor and kindness, peppered with a touch of sass that made every engagement with her lively and memorable. She was particularly noted for her quick responses on social media, often being affectionately dubbed the 'fastest like' on the internet—a charming reflection of her modern touch and connection to her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her beloved children—Ronda (Richard) Breton, Annette (Mike) Taylor, Douglas (Tanya) Jones, Robin (Bill) Greiner, and Jesse Johnson—she cherished her grandchildren: Ryan (Dominique) Clance, Cody (Theresa) Taylor, Casey Taylor, Taylor Jones, Madison (Heath) Patterson, Hannah (Jesús Romero) Greiner, Josiah Greiner, Dietrich Greiner, Devin Johnson, and Charles Johnson. Her legacy continues to thrive through her great-grandchildren, including Connley Clance, Charlotte Clance, and Elaina Abbot. Judy shared a deep bond with her sister, Jan (Randy) Brenneman, and sister-in-law, Karen Warren, along with many nieces, nephews, bonus grandchildren, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends whose lives she touched.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Ronald Jones and Charles Johnson, as well as her brothers, Joe and Jack Warren, her parents, Charles "Cliff" and Margaret Warren, and her cherished grandson, Quinten Greiner.

As we remember Judy, we celebrate the beautiful moments she gifted us—the laughter, the encouragement, and the love that will forever resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, a spirit that thrived on supporting others, and a family knit together by her enduring love. Judy will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
