Judith Ann Conover, age 80 of Dayton, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born November 27, 1940 in Troy, Ohio the daughter to the late Harold and Nina Stoughton.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents. She will be missed by her children, Tonia (James) Organ, David Brown, Brian K. Brown and Andrew Scott (Jessica) Conover; grandchildren, James Allen (Jeff) Organ, Angela Organ, David McGriff, Jr. "Bubby", Anthony Brown, Lindsey Brown, Brianna (Derek) Best, Scott David Conover, Shianna Lynn Miller; several great grandchildren including Kaylin Organ, Tristin Organ, Jordan Organ, Dia Organ, Hayden Organ and Memphis Organ; sisters, Jeanie Pollard and Charlotte Martinez.
Judy worked hard all of her life to support herself and her children. She worked a variety of fascinating jobs including a dairy herdsman, taking care of dairy cattle at dairy barns, raising Basenji dogs (barkless dogs), a horse-racing track, car-racing track, taxi cab driver, and the circus.
She will be laid to rest at Polk Grove Cemetery in a private family ceremony.
