Judith Arlene Strauss

Judith Arlene "Judy" Strauss, age 62, of Dayton, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 30, 2022. She was born in Marietta, Ohio, on May 18, 1960, the daughter of the late Darrell Fryman and Margaret Fryman.

She was preceded in death by her father; her beloved husband, Daniel S. Strauss; and her children, Alicia Strauss and Alexander Strauss.

Judy is survived by her loving sons, Daryl (Amy) Sparks and Ryan (Jessica) Strauss; mother, Margaret Fryman; grandchildren, CheyAnne, Aliza, Cora, Brody, Avery and Evan; brothers, Frank (Sherri) Fryman and Randy (Brian Anderson) Fryman; her dogs, Carmen and Daisy; and many other loving family and friends.

In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, attending NASCAR races, riding horses, working on puzzles, gardening and spending time with her family. Judy adored the time spent with her grandchildren. She was always the rock of the family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm-6:00pm, on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 6:00pm. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Gravel Bank Cemetery, Marietta, Ohio.
