Judith R. Shepard

Judith R. Shepard, 75, of Dayton, passed away September 20, 2017. Judith was born in St Louis, MO on July 14, 1942 to the late Lewis and Princess Alexander. She was the Auxiliary President for the VFW Post 657 for several years and also a member for many years. In her free time she enjoyed television, cooking and spending time with friends and family. In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her loving Husband of 54 years, James K. Shepard. She will be missed by her daughters, Shelly (Ron) Skees, Charnell (Mark) Posey; sons, Kent (Tracy) Shepard, Kelly (Naomi) Shepard; grandchildren, Alexandra, Brienne, Tyler, Forrest, Caitlin, Victoria, Teresa, Maxwell, Erin, Sydney, Lindsay; brothers, Jack Alexander, Paul (Gale) Alexander; and many other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 5-7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, where funeral services will begin at 7 pm.
