Judith Virginia Rowe, age 83 of West Carrollton, formerly of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born February 12, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Art and Cecile Miller.
Judy graduated from Beavercreek High School in the Class of 1957, where she played clarinet in the marching band. She retired from NCR Corporation as a Computer Operator and later from Grandview Hospital as an Administrative Assistant in the Cardiac Rehab Unit.
Judy loved all things Disney, Gone with the Wind, trivia (she had a head full), but most especially automobile racing. She was a NASCAR fan for over 50 years. She traveled to Michigan many times to camp and watch the NASCAR races in June. Judy, her sister Sally and nephew Adam were lucky enough to travel to some of the NASCAR Racing garages in North Carolina.
Judy absolutely loved her family. Allyson, her only child, was the recipient of most of that love. Allyson also provided Judy with her most cherished gift, her grandchildren. Judy attended many school plays, a 4th grade luncheon at El Meson and many sporting events. She happily volunteered wherever she could including cooking food for Mid-States Band competition. She followed her grandkids around when they were part of Show Choir and attended all of their band concerts. She went to ALL of the football games, not to see the game, but to watch half-time and her grandkids in the Marching Band. She even traveled several times to Vanderbilt University, Ohio State University and also Walt Disney World as a Beavercreek Marching Band "Grandparent".
She is preceded in death by her brother, Daniel A. Miller and long-time companion, Robert Watson.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Allyson G. (Rowe) Berry (Richard Berry); grandchildren, D'Arcy E. Berry and Spencer M. Berry; sisters, Sally K. Miller, Constance E. (Miller) White (David White) and nephews, Andrew C. White and Adam G. White.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Heart Association in Judy's honor.
