Judith Rae Swankhouse

Swankhouse, Judith Rae, age 83, of Kettering, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012. She was born in Covington, Ohio on March 28, 1929 to the late Raymond & Glenna (VanHise) Lyons. She was a Roosevelt High School graduate, Class of 1947, and still met her girlfriends from the Roosevelt ATA Club to this day. Judy was preceded in death by her husband: Robert L. Swankhouse.

She is survived by her daughters: Robin Templin-McKenzie of Kettering & Shelley (Scott) Sorenson of Kettering; son: David (Gail) Swankhouse of Bradford; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister: Shirley Joan Queen; nieces: Debbie Queen Schaar & Brenda Queen Casterline; nephew: Kevin Queen; and many other friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton where Judy left all of her angels behind, to give wonderful care to others. The family would like to send a special "Thank You" to the nurses and staff at Liberty Retirement Community for all of their love and support.
