Judith Lawrence

Judith (Judy) Ann Lawrence, 79, passed away on February 28, 2014 at Kettering Hospital.

She was born on June 18, 1934 to George and Ruth Lawrence. She graduated from Miamisburg High School and graduated from Christian Female College, now Columbia College of Columbia, Missouri.

Judy held a long and successful career in the banking industry. She retired from Key Bank. After retirement, Judy enjoyed the social activities of several clubs to which she belonged including Key Bank Retirees Club, the Birthday Club with her co-workers and her High School Graduation Group. Judy also enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. She recently enjoyed a cruise to Alaska.

She is survived by nephew George R. Lawrence (wife Lora), Platteville, CO; niece Tara Waller (husband Mike), Muncie, IN; and cousins Ruth Rankin, Dayton and Paul Simmons, WA. She is also survived by several great-nieces and a great nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother George M. Lawrence, sister-in-law Martha (Marti) Lawrence and nephew Steven Lawrence.

Family and friends wishing to call will be from 2-3p on Friday, April 11, 2014 with a memorial service following at 3pm at Newcomer South. Newcomer South is in charge of arrangements.
