Judith Ann Cartisano was born in Greenwich, CT, on September 13, 1949. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grace L. Smalley Cartisano, and Louis T. Cartisano; and by her siblings, Janet Keefe of Dallas, and Charles Rameor of Greenwich. She is survived by her sisters, Jerry Lee LeBlanc of Dayton, and Toni Cartisano of Branford, CT., as well as her daughter, Kyla Wilkenfeld of California, and many nieces and nephews.
One nephew, Keith LeBlanc, was especially dear to her as he was always there for her, even before she became ill. He was, and continues to be especially dear to Toni as well as he is "on scene" and Toni is in Connecticut. Judy also was always in touch with her lifetime best friend, Sandy Grant, also in Greenwich.
Judy attended Hair Dressing school, earned her license, worked for a short time in a salon, and knew almost immediately that was not for her. She moved to Dallas to be with her sister, Janet, and her family. While living there, she of course became a huge Dallas Cowboys football fan! However, she still definitely followed the Women's UConn Basketball team as well!
Judy's faith in Jesus Christ was very important to her. She always said she was happiest working for Charity Baptist Church as their secretary where she was saved and became a member of the church.
Judy was very talented in dancing and cooking. She was a ballet, tap dance, and modern dance instructor in a studio, and often cooked for family and friends - especially Italian dishes.
She WILL be missed!!
