Judith C. (Carville) Wade

Judith C. (Carville) Wade, age 92 of Union, passed away on March 13, 2012 at Crestview Manor. Judy was born in Newark, OH to the late Joseph and Helen Carville. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Gene Wade; two infant brothers; and one sister, Virginia.

Judy is survived by her brother, James Carville; two daughters, Susan Wade and Kathy (Clive) Wade Morgan; two grandchildren, Chad (Heather) Robinson and Jill Robinson; one great grandson, Riley Wade Robinson; a niece; two nephews; and a host of other family members and good friends.

Judy will be sadly missed. She loved her home, her family and anything to do with nature. Her greatest pleasures were watching the birds feed and working in her yard. She could make anything grow. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to England to visit her daughter Kathy, as well as Spain where they lived for a short time. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Crestview Manor as well as The Hospice of Dayton for their care and concern, in-home caregivers, Lori and Joyce, for enabling Mom to stay at home for as long as possible, and neighbors, Dave and Beth for their many acts of kindness.

A visitation will take place on Sunday March 18, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. A private graveside service will take place at Harris Creek Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton.
