Judith A. Rix

Rix, Judith Ann (Ackerman), 75, of Riverside, OH, courageously lost her year-long battle with cancer at Hospice of Dayton on October 7, 2016. Born November 1, 1940 in Dayton, OH, she graduated from Kiser High School in 1958 and was a retiree of K-Mart and Jet Express. Judy is proceeded in death by her mother and father, Salome and Eugene Ackerman; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and John Williams; and nephew, Ron Williams.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Dunn, Fairfield; son, Jim Rix (Suzy), Bellbrook; nephew, Tom Williams (Debbie), Centerville; Judy Williams, Kettering; grandchildren, Christopher and Melissa (Shane); great grandchildren, DJ, Austin, Kayla, Brooklyn and Ella; and last but not least, her special kitty, Lillie.

The family would like to thank Area on Aging, Greater Dayton Cancer Center, Hospice of Dayton and her special care-taker, Miss Betty Boop.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10am to 11am on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a memorial service will begin at 11am. A private burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton at a later date.
