Juanita M. Ladd

LADD, Juanita M., age 85, of West Carrollton, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, May 14th, 2017, at Sycamore Hospital after courageously fighting a long illness for many years.

Juanita was born on February 27, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio to the late John and Ida Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Merlyn D. Ladd; brother, Claude E. Hall; sisters, Mildred Stevens and Mary Collins; brothers-in-law, Theodore Stevens, Forest Collins, Marlo Ladd, Darrell Ladd, and Lloyd Ladd; father and mother-in-law, Parnell and Ethel Ladd.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Deena Hall, who was her best friend and devoted caregiver; brother, Ova J. Hall; brother-in-law, Parnell (Andrea) Ladd; sisters-in-law, Bonney Hall and Marlyn Ladd; grandsons, Jason Hall and Jeremy Hall (Jenna Sisler); great granddaughters, Kelsi Hall (Matt Tenney), Kira Hall, and Jaelyn Hall; great, great grandson, Eylan Tenney; special niece and caregiver, Connie (Tom) Langford; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; and her very special grand dog, Peanut Hall.

She worked 20 years at McCall's, then owned and operated the Donut Palace, and retired from Kettering Hospital at age 76 after working 27 years in Nutrition Services. She always put family first and her priority in life was spending time with them!

The family wishes to thank everyone for all of their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 5:00-7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, OH 45439. The service will follow at 7:00pm.
