DAY, Juanita "Lorene", 70 of Beavercreek passed away Friday October 2, 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents Leon and Alma Amos; sisters Marjorie Rutherford and Sandra Amos; and brothers Jerry and Billy Amos. Lorene is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Cecil Day, Sr.; children Sharon (Dan) Murray, LaVonna (Bob) Beers, Cindy (James) Riley, and Cecil Day, Jr.; grandchildren Laurie (Bryan), Jennifer, Ron, Bradley, Stephanie, Tyler, Cory, Jamie, and Cecil; special friends Rosalyn, Brandon, Courtney, Connor, and Dalton; sister JoAnn Stevens; brothers Buddy (Elaine) and Darryl (Jackie) Amos; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. She cherished spending time with family and working in her flower gardens. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Wednesday October 7, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd. Family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00PM Tuesday October 6, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
