Juanita Charlene Davis "Nanny", age 78 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Watertown, Tennessee. She was born June 14, 1942 in Allock, Kentucky.
Juanita was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and foster parent. She was giving, loving, kind, and would give the shirt off her back to help anyone. She had a spunky, independent personality and would say whatever was on her mind. Juanita was always on the go and enjoyed shopping at thrift stores. Nanny cherished all the time she could spend with her family especially holiday gatherings and cook-outs. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Clara Nunemaker; son, Charles DeBusk; grandsons, David DeBusk and Thomas Peck; great granddaughter, Sophia Peck; and brother, Charles Nunemaker.
Juanita will be missed by her loving daughters, Maria DeBusk, Roxanna DeBusk and Kimberly (Derrick) Hoffman; son, Jerry Hoffman; grandchildren, Cory (Dana) DeBusk, Samantha (George) Taylor, Preston (Amanda) DeBusk, Kaetlyn DeBusk, Timmy (Sabella) Grimes, Nathan Hoffman, Noah (Sayla) Hoffman, Alyssa Perry; great grandchildren, Tommy Peck, Jr., Arianna DeBusk, Preston DeBusk, Jr., Sa'Miyah Taylor, Jace DeBusk, Leon DeBusk and Keagan DeBusk; great-great granddaughter, Natalee Hoffman; sister, Mickey (Glen) Patrick; nephew, Bobby (Sue) Patrick; and niece, Janet Wierzba.
Family will receive friends Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. The state of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks be worn in all public places.
