Juanita H. Carter, age 84 of Dayton, passed away Monday, December 23, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born September 11, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leroy and Ivernona Johnson.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Timotheus Carter and great granddaughter, Nirobia Carter; siblings, Margaret Alexander, Mary Murphy, Janet Allen, Dorothy Mauldin, Robert Johnson, Corina Johnson.
Juanita is survived by her children, Leavelle A. (Pheobe) Carter, Robin Carter (Willam "Kenny" Mayo), Norketta Carter, Sonia Carter-Jackson, Cedric (Terri) Carter, Ealawnya Carter Tazarna "Tye" Carter; sister, Geraldine Johnson, grandchildren, Yolanda Carter, Christian Baccus, Joy'ell Sims, Jawan Carter, LeTeasha Carter, Terrelle Carter, Cordis Berard, Quiana Carter, Dorian Carter, Charlese Carter, Calasha Carter, Chantelle Carter, Camareon Carter and TyRik Carter; great grandchildren, Aujana, Ebony, Rheya, Dorian Jr.; as well as a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and beloved dog, Jojo.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
