Loving mother of Dean "Chuck" (Mary Ann) Floyd, Duane (Karen) Berry and Darlynn Berry-Justice, adored grandmother of Shanna (Ralph Ortez Jr.) Floyd, Gray Berry, Ashley (AJay Johnson) Brown and Ricky Justice II, cherished great grandmother of Jasper Justice and beloved sister of Rena Cowden, Harley (Verna) Bosell, Laura "Tootsie" Kingsbury and Myrna (Don) Allen.
She was preceded in death by her husband James L. Berry, parents William "Bojack" and Helen "Hildy" Bosell and her siblings Virginia "Ginny" Braun and William "Billy" Bosell.
Juanita was known for loving the holidays...especially baking and making ornaments with family. She was very crafty. She also enjoyed her games including bingo, Yahtzee, dice and cards. Her absolute favorite pastime was taking care of her grandkids. They brought her so much joy. She was an avid Elvis lover and loved to catch a NASCAR race on Sunday's. Thrifting and garage sales were also a passion....she loved finding deals.
Juanita touched so many lives and will be missed by all who knew her, including her children's friends that she took in like one of her own.
Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.) on Thursday September 8, 2022 at 10:00 am with service to follow at 11:00 am. She will join her family in her final resting place at Byron Cemetery. Please consider making a donation in Juanita's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
