Juanita A. Banks, 72, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton.
Born in Great Falls, SC, she spent many years serving senior citizens by driving the van for meals on wheels. She later became one of the managers for a local convenience store chain ensuring all stores in her vicinity had everything they needed to function and provide great customer service. She retired shortly after due to an injury on the job and spent the rest of her days as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, helping others, shopping and spending time with family especially her grandchildren. Being the type of person to always give of herself and help in any way, she never met a stranger. She went out of her way to help others and show love to everyone she knew. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Marketta Peel (Greg), granddaughters, Matasha and Maya, grandson, Scotty, son William Harrison, III (Hannah), niece Shyvonne Atchison, sister-cousins, Betty Watson, Nadine Douglas (Cousar), stepsons Gerald Adams and Dana Adams, step-grandson, Adonis Wright, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by father Bill Atchison, mother Maggie Lee Atchison, grandmother Frances Patterson, husband Gilbert Banks and son Victor Harrison.
Her life will be celebrated on Wednesday June 6, 2018. Memorial service will be held at 5 pm at New Season Ministry Worship Center, 5711 Shull Rd, Huber Heights, Ohio 45424.
