Juan Longoria Salinas aka Jayson Michaels, formerly of Galveston, Texas, passed away November 17, 2017 at the Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.
Juan "Jayson" Salinas originally from Galveston, Texas is the Founder, Executive and Artistic Director and principle choreographer for Jayson Michaels Energy Source Dance Association for the last 21 years, a nationwide dance camp that worked with all areas of students inner city to suburbs. The Dance Source was both a motivational and inspirational course of dance to teach, train and expand talent thru the art of the dance. The Energy Source is the nation's leading intensive for One on One dance training. Juan "Jayson" had a lifetime career in dance from Regional Directors of Arthur Murray and Fred Astaire Ballroom Dance Studios, Artistic Director Cruise Ships, Video production choreography and built the Energy Source Dance Camps nationwide. Juan "Jason" has lived from coast to coast from Los Angeles, to Virginia Beach, until making his home in Dayton, Ohio.
Juan "Jayson" was preceded in death by his Father, Johnnie R. Salinas, Grandparents, Benita Zepeda Gutierrez, Alexander Samuel Longoria, Ray R. Gutierrez, Albert and Sulema Salinas, Uncles, Danny and Joe Perez, and Alex Longoria.
Juan "Jayson" is survived by his Partner of 10 years, Danny McMurray of Dayton, Ohio, Mother, Dolores V. Salinas, Brothers, Michael A. Salinas of Houston, James "Jimmy" L. Salinas of Galveston, Phillip "Phil Salinas of San Antonio, Jesse Salinas of Texas City, Aunts and Uncles Minnie Perez Pollock of New Mexico, Daniel Perez of Forth Worth, Benita Longoria Fontenot of Galveston Texas, Mary Yvonne Longoria Cain of Dewey, Oklahoma, Cousins Benita Longoria, Laura Longoria of California, Lisa Marie Longoria, Michelle Longoria, Cassandra Longoria of Las Vegas, Robert Howton of Ohio, Rosemary Howton, A.J.
