Joyce Weng

WENG, Joyce Anne
age 68 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2005 at her home. Joyce was born January 11, 1937, in Sciota Co. OH, the daughter of Frank and Opal Bocook. She was a faithful and devoted wife of a United States Army Officer for over 47 years. Joyce is survived by her husband, Russell Weng; children, Rick Peyton and Kim (Greg) Scarborough; mother, Opal Bocook; grandsons, Brandon and Christopher Scarborough; her dog Brandie; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Bocook and brother, Onda Cartee. Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with interment following in Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Hospice of Dayton and Dayton Oncology & Hematology for their care and support.
