Joyce Ullery

Joyce Ullery, age 79 of Brookville, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 13, 2012. She was born on January 6, 1933 in Lewisburg, KY. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Lurline Cooke and Ercel & Franny Grace Cooke; by her son, Barry Joel Ullery; and sister, June Offenbacher.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bob Ullery; son, Scott (Carol) Ullery; brother, Ray (Laura) Cooke; sister-in-law, Joyce Fuls; brother-in-law Rick (Maria) Ullery; several nices, nephews, other family members and friends.

Joyce was a 1951 graduate of Kiser High School.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday August 16, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to service, from 12:30-1:30 pm. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Joyce's memory to the Diabetes Association, 2555 South Dixie Drive, Suite 112, Dayton, Ohio 45409.
