Joyce Ann Ramby

Joyce Ann Ramby, age 81, of Vandalia, passed away July 6, 2022. She was born August 29, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio. Joyce was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur Armstrong; mother, Marguerite Kemp; husband, James Ramby; and brother & sister-in-law: Curtis and Maria Kemp.

Joyce is survived by her children: Robert Ellis, Rhonda (Michael) Taylor, James Ramby, Jr., Rick (Stephanie) Ramby and Kimberly Bear; grandchildren: Rachel, Robert, Jamie (Adam), Matthew (Taylor), Lucas, Skylar, Justin (Rachel), Kayla and Cooper; great-grandchildren: Grace, Zander, Indra, Kody and James; brother, John (Joy) Kemp; sisters: Sandra (Roy) Lykins and Elaine (Jim) Searcy; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Joyce was a former employee at Franklin Nursing Center, Lytton Electronics and Capital Dry Cleaners before retiring from Cintas. She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, working in her yard and she liked watching movies and listening to music.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday. Entombment to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joyce's memory to Hospice of Miami County.
