Joyce Metzger, age 79, of Kettering, OH passed away Wednesday January 22, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Toni Seals; 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Richard "Buddy" Metzger; daughter, Gwen (Ron) Thompson; grandson, Zach Thompson; sister, Kathryn Hart; and brother, Ralph Seals.
Visitation is Monday January 27, 2014 from 10am to 12pm with funeral service starting at 12pm at the Parkview Church of the Nazarene, 4701 Far Hills Avenue, Kettering, OH 45429.
Interment will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, OH.
Because she was a lover of animals, donations may be made to the Dayton Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
Arrangements are by the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
