Joyce Fay Lefkowitz, age 75, of Dayton, passed away on March 10, 2023 at Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. She was born on March 24, 1947 in Harlan, Kentucky to Lawrence and Emma Burton (née Harrison).
She is preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence; her children, Rod and JR; her stepchildren, Corey and Jason; and numerous family and friends.
Joyce was a career employee of Dayton Public Schools. She was devoted to her church and her faith. To the last, she enjoyed the company of her friends and family. Joyce will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 12pm - 1pm at Newcomer Funeral Home — North Chapel, 4014 Needmore Road, Dayton, OH 45424. Services will begin at 1pm.
Joyce's final resting place will be at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens.
