Joyce K. Jennings, age 79 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born March 16, 1939 in Wheelersburg, Ohio.
Joyce loved her dogs, Luke, Lori and Lucy and her late dog, Bob as well as flowers and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family.
She is preceded in death her parents, Irene and Clarence Shomberg, Amy McCarty and a brother.
Joyce will be missed by her loving husband of almost 43 years, Ralph; daughter, Wanda Caplinger; son, Chip (Anderson) Booher; daughter, Susan Booher; son, Joshua Jennings; grandchildren, Tony Allen, Kevin Allen, Rodney Allen, Kyle Caplinger, Andrew Caplinger, Ambrosia Booher and Wesley Banner; many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews including Rita Fitzwater.
Family will receive friends Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Burial to follow services at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
