Joyce Forsyth, age 72, of West Carrollton, OH passed away Thursday August 1, 2013 after her brave battle with breast cancer over the last 5 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Martha Jackson; and siblings, Jesse Jackson, Mary Lovin, Bonnie Woolery, Coy Jackson, Iva June Jackson, and Douglas Jackson.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jim Forsyth; children, Julie (Ron) Hess and Jamie Forsyth; sisters, Evelyn Hazelwood and Ruth Collins.
Joyce was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Carrollton and worked as a hairdresser at the La Boutique for over 40 years.
The family would like to offer a very special thanks to Dr. Alejandro Calvo and Dr. Vida Farhangi of Dayton and also, Dr. Elyse Lower and staff of OHC Associates in Cincinnati.
Visitation is Saturday August 3, 2013 from 9:30am to 11am with funeral service starting at 11am at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
Pastor Mark Scroggins is officiating.
Interment is in Evergreen Cemetery.
Donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of West Carrollton Keenagers.
