Joyce F. Harless, age 69 of New Carlisle, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 10, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Whitesburg, KY on July 7, 1943 to the late John Mullins and Hanna Allison (Sizemore).
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, George V. Harless; daughters, Diane Harless and fiancé, Lester M. Gibson, and Janice Marie Rowland; granddaughters, Jenny Lynn (Savage) Armstrong, Jessica Rowland and fiancé, Robert; great-grandchildren, Jaimee Rawlins, Journey Armstrong, Savage Armstrong, Jr., Jalind and Jayden; brother, Kennith (Mary Ann) Mullins and their 8 children; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Joyce was beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She made sacrifices to take care of her children and their children. A woman who believed family and friends is where love is. Joyce loved bingo and the friends she made there. She enjoyed playing games on the computer for hours.
Joyce was very artistic and enjoyed crafts and crocheting.
She was a loving and caring wife to George, and will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Joyce was my "best friend and partner for 51 years", and she was "the light of my life and held my world together."
