Joyce E. Grusenmeyer, 82, of Dayton, passed away October 3, 2016. Joyce was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 24, 1934 to the late Burch and MaryLou Hunter. Joyce retired from Price Brothers after over 30 years of service. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Peters Catholic Church for over 50 years. In her free time, she enjoyed her dogs and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 50 years, William A. Grusenmeyer; and her sisters, Bernice Pratt and Lois Marquardt.
She is survived by her nieces, Marsha Noonan, Kim (Greg) Petterson, Traci (Carl) Tucker; her companions, Buster and Angel; and several other relatives and special friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Monday at 10:00 am at St. Peters Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Road, Dayton.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
