Joyce B. Atkinson

Joyce B. Atkinson, age 84, of Kettering, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born July 26, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of John Butler and Mary Kirschner.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Enloe "Don" Atkinson; son, David Atkinson and grandson, Wayne Atkinson.
Joyce is survived by her four sons, Michael Atkinson, Steven Atkinson, Glenn Atkinson and Greg (Paige) Atkinson; four grandchildren, Jessica Gourley, William Atkinson, Jared Atkinson and Tyler Atkinson; many great-grandchildren; along with numerous extended family and friends.
She retired from General Motors after 30 years of dedicated service.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., where her memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM. Pastor Jordan McKenzie will officiate the service. Private family interment will take place at Dayton Memorial Park at a later date.
