Joyce Ann Collins

Joyce Ann Collins (Throckmorton) went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 20, 2013. She was born in Dayton, OH. Joyce graduated from Brookville High School, class of 1956. She then attended and graduated from Dayton School of Practical Nursing in 1957. Joyce worked at Good Samaritan Hospital for 42 years, retiring in 1999.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Conley N. Collins, Sr.; father, Roger A. Throckmorton, Sr.; sister, Ondia Mae Reise; father and mother -in-law, Charlie R. and Agnes Collins of KY.
Joyce is survived by her sons, Conley N. Collins, Jr., Charles R. Collins; daughter, Caren Sue Neal; grandchildren, Jeffrey Oswalt, Jr., Dexter Barbo, Conley N. Collins, III, Alexandria St. Martin, Rachel Oswalt and Samantha Henson; great-grandson, Riley L. Oswalt; mother, Ondia Throckmorton; sister, Kaaren Graham; brother, Roger A. (Suzanne) Throckmorton, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to VITAS Hospice for the wonderful care they gave Joyce.
Joyce was a member of First Church of the Open Bible for 42 years.
