Joyce A. Holderman was born in Dayton, OH to the late Stawder C. and Mary A. (McIntosh) Anderson, OH April 14, 1927.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of over 40 years, Thomas Holderman; 2 sisters: Wyvonna "Nonnie" Morgan and Dorothy Murray; and her son-in-law, Gale Purnhagen.
Joyce is survived by her children: Carolyn Joyce Purnhagen, Donald R. Cherry (& Debbie), Jaylene Brewer (& Timothy); grandchildren: Karla Dawn (& Darrell), Kimberly Ann, Keri Lynn (& Paul), David Michael, Rebekkah Lynn (& Mark), Jonathon Paul, Mary Elizabeth (& Mike), Charity Lynn (& Ryan) and Matthew "Matty"; great-grandchildren: Devin, Derik, Kylee, Joshua, Mikaila, Kourtney, Benjamin, Nayden, Andrea, Jonathon Richard "J.R.", Taryn, Grady, Rylan, Reagan and Cameron. Joyce is also survived by her sister, Ruth Cox, and numerous precious nieces and nephews.
She will be missed by all who loved her.
Joyce loved her family, her garden and flowers, her grandchildren, her cat "Teddy", and providing for them by the many garage sales she would attend.
A visitation will be held 6-8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432.
A Funeral Service will be held 10 AM, Thursday, December 19, 2013 also at the funeral home.
