Joy Ann Reynolds

Reynolds, Joy Ann "Buba" age 62, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020. She was born in Middletown , Ohio on December 16, 1957 to the late Frank and Ann F. Dillman (nee Fenchak).

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Dillman.

Joy is survived by her beloved husband of 10 years, Gregory J. Reynolds; daughters, Sandra (Derrick) Charles and Sara (Ronnie Menachem) French; grandchildren, Bella A. Menachem, Christa Charles and Cori Charles; sister-in-law, Pam Reynolds; fur-grandbaby, Mr. Olaf; and a host of other family members and friends.

Joy graduated in 1980 from Miami University with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She worked at Middletown Hospital in Labor and Delivery before it was torn down. Joy always stayed active with many different activities. This included spoiling her grandchildren, who they refereed to by Buba, shopping for any occasion, late night trips to her favorite stores, and treating her self well with getting her nails and hair done. She enjoyed the simple things in life like fresh butter milk and Mac&Cheese (never out of the box).

Joy had loving nicknames from her husband and grandchildren. She had the nickname Sparkey because she was always late for everything, it would take her awhile to get ready. Grandchildren called her Buba because it was czechoslovakian for grandma. Joy will truly be missed by her friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Joy to The Salvation Army.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 followed by Celebration of Life at 12:00 pm.
