Joy Kathleen Broughton

Joy Kathleen "B" Broughton, age 45 of Kettering, went to be with to be with her mother on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. She was born February 3, 1975 in Chester, Virginia daughter of Gordon and Julie Bennett. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her grandmothers Peggy Lou Bennett and Phyllis Harrod.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Jaime Broughton; her three children, Dustin Broughton, Justin Turner and Destiny Broughton; three grandchildren, Jaxson, Ryder, and Cory; grandfather, Chunk Bennett; aunt, Gail (Paul) Nobles-Bennett; cousin, Tammy Bennett; special friends, Deedee, Christa, Dawn, and Marnie. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.

The most important thing to Joy was being a mother and spending time with her family. She enjoyed swimming, cleaning, listening to music, and watching the children during BMX races. She is well loved and will be dearly missed by all those that knew her.

Memorial Gathering will be held on February 3, 2021 from 4:00-5:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home-Kettering Chapel located at 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, Ohio 45439. Memorial Services will be officiated by Pastor Joel Getts at 5:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
