Joseph Arthur Fryer, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, in Dayton, Ohio, at the age of 93. Born on July 23, 1931, in Dayton, Ohio, Joseph was the cherished son of the late Wilbur and Dorothy Fryer. He is now at rest with the Lord, and his family takes solace in his unwavering faith and love.
Joseph was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Betty S. Fryer, and his son, Joseph David Fryer and Sister Sandra Lee Christie, He is survived by his loving children: Linda Meade, Donald and Sandra Fryer, Diana and Jerrod Peyton, and Patricia Knight. His legacy continues through his 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
A dedicated worker, Joseph retired from GM/Harrison Radiator and was a proud member of IUE Local 801. His commitment to his work and community was a testament to his strong values and faith.
Joseph's life was a journey of faith, and he found strength and guidance in his spiritual beliefs. His family and friends are comforted by the knowledge that he is now in the presence of the Lord, embraced by eternal peace and love. As they mourn his passing, they also celebrate a life well-lived, filled with devotion, kindness, and grace.
Services are still pending, and the family appreciates the prayers and support from all who knew and loved Joseph. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all who were touched by his life.
