Joshua Mason Hunter

Joshua Mason Hunter, age 31 of Miamisburg went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 16, 2015. He was born on August 28, 1983.

Josh was the loving husband of Amy (nee Massar) Hunter and father of Jackson and Alexa; son of Mason and Julie Hunter; brother, Daniel (Brittany); sister, Megan Hunter, nephews, Colton, Kellen and Ryker; best friend Andrew (Hannah) Turner all of Miamisburg, Ohio. Josh had numerous Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.

Josh was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Donald and Ruth Vandenbrock, Uncle Jim Vandenbrock, paternal grandparents Virgil and Shirley Hunter and Uncle Mark Hunter.

Josh graduated from Miamisburg High School, attended Ohio University and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Phoenix University and was employed by Sunstar. Nothing held Josh back; his love for his family, his humor, strength, courage and determination only begin to describe this young husband, father, son and brother who was taken all too soon. Josh was a man who put everyone else first but above all, his family was what he valued most in his life; his love and spirit will remain with us forever.

Visitation and funeral will be held at Fairhaven Church, 637 E. Whipp Rd, Dayton, OH on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 12pm. Friends may visit from 10am-12pm. Joshua will be laid to rest next to his beloved Grandma at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
