Joshua R. Holden-Womack, age 28, of Huber Heights, passed away unexpectedly on September 14, 2023. He was born March 19, 1995 in Dayton, Ohio to Rebecca Holden and Robert Womack.
In addition to his parents, Josh is survived by his brother, Brooks Holden-Womack (Nina); grandfather, Bobby Womack; aunts: Susie and Brenda; beloved uncle, Terry (Misty) Womack; cousins: Travis Kehler, Gracie Piper, Eric Piper, Amanda "Scarecrow" Korhn; cousins in Dayton: Conner, Sarah, Courtney, Travis, Austin, Nick, Nicole and Jenny; many other family members locally and in Kansas, including: aunt Nanette, uncle Phil, aunt Debbie and many friends.
Josh was a Probation Officer at Montgomery County Juvenile Court - he loved his co-workers, his supervisor, Jonny Vance, Ms. Shaffer, Ms. James and his youth. He was a very enthusiastic sports fan, always rooting for the Kansas Jayhawks Basketball & Football and the Cleveland Browns. He enjoyed dogs, music, weightlifting and motorcycles. More than anything Josh loved his family and his faith.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 6:00 pm.
Contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses, to Our Farm Sanctuary or to Chaminade-Julian Lacrosse. Josh's family would like to thank the Dayton Community and Huber Heights City Schools for their support and care throughout the years.
