Joshua Ryan Francis, age 28 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away on July 3rd, 2016 at Sycamore Hospital. He was born in Dayton, Ohio October 23rd, 1987. The son of Joseph Barker and Julie (Francis) Barker.
Joshua is preceded in death by his mother Julie (Francis) Barker and his grandmother Donna Francis. He is survived by his father Joseph Barker, brother Joey Barker, sister Daisy Barker, Grandparents Ernie and Marybeth Pyle, Aunt Christie Barnes and her two daughters Katie and Hannah Salyer, his girlfriend Youtonnia (McDonald) Hess and her three children. He also left behind a loving surrogate mother Nikki Green and grandmother Bernice Powell, plus many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Joshua was a commercial painter and enjoyed his faith in Jesus Christ.
A celebration of Josh's life with be held Sunday July 10, 2016 at 8pm at Newcomer Funeral in Kettering. Josh's family will greet family and friends from 6 to 8pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to them to help cover funeral and headstone expenses.
