Smith, Josephine H., of Carlisle, Ohio, went home to be with Jesus and reunited with loved ones on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. Born in Jamestown, Tennessee on September 9, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years: James W. Smith; father and mother: Otto & Hattie E. Heinss; sisters: Evelyn, Mayme, Anna and Dixie; brothers: Otto, Willard and Fritz Heinss. She is survived by four daughters: Patricia (Leon) Clark, Laticia (Frank) Hodges, Madonna (Dave) Morris, Diane (Daniel) Brown; son: Daryl Smith; brothers: Bruno (Fran) and Paul (Barbara) Heinss; sisters: Rene Smith and Leila (Reece) Taulbert; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, October 30, 2009 at the First Baptist Church of Springboro, 80 Greenwood Dr., Springboro with Pastors Rick Carr and Darrel Stapleton officiating. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
