Josephine "Jo" Christian, age 78, of Trotwood, passed away June 11, 2024. She was born January 11, 1946 in Sparta, TN to the late James and Marie Reece. In addition to her parents, Jo was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Lee Christian; her son, Ricky Lee Christian and her daughter, Barbara Ann Christian; her sister, Sue Silcox.

Jo is survived by her daughter, Brenda Vanderpool (Doug); her son, Michael Christian; 6 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; her siblings, Sonny Reece and Brenda Raines; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jo loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the staff of Shiloh Springs Care Center, especially Carla. She enjoyed playing Bingo and crossword puzzles. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 16, 2024 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm.
