Joseph Young
October 15, 1925 — February 10, 2014
Joseph Young, age 88 of Riverside , passed away Monday, February 10, 2014. He was born October 15, 1925 in Kings Mountain, Kentucky the son of George and Ella Young. He served in the Army during World War II and received the purple heart from wounds received at Luzon. He was a member of the VWF Post 8312.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Geraldine; 2 Daughters - Gail Rion and Brenda Brown; 2 Sons - Joseph W Young and Dan M. Young; a Sister - Christine Bradshaw of Danville, KY; Grandchildren - 9. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:00 am with Brian Kershaw officiating at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432).
