Joseph Maynard Windows, age 54 of Kettering, passed away Friday, August 23, 2019 at his home. He was born May 16, 1965 in Paris, France, to the late Maynard and Helen Windows.
Joseph is survived by his sisters, Michele (Danny) Elofskey, Cathleen Boyle and Angela (David) Connolly; nieces and nephews, Brenton, Aubrey, Nathan, Dillon, Tony, Jack and Samantha and aunts, Mary Ann Losonczki and Elaine Flick.
Joe was a 1984 graduate of Fairmont High School and shortly after entered into service for the United States Navy as a photographic quality control technician for 9 years. Following his honorable discharge, Joe began employment with the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier for 21 years before retiring in 2017. He enjoyed darts with the Dayton Dart Association, music, trivia and the company of friends.
Visitation will be held 1:00-3:00 pm Tuesday, September 3, 2019 Newcomer Funeral Home – KETTERING. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm and concluded with military honors.
