Joseph E. Tangeman, 85, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away May 2, 2018. Born on August 5, 1932, Joe was an avid lover of music, movies, jokes, and cards.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Edwin and Margaret (nee Hartle); and son, Joseph Jr.
Joe is survived by his children: Karen (Richard) Voxbrunner, Mark (Merly) Tangeman, Michael Tangeman, and Julie Case; 5 grandchildren: Sarah (Robert) Pace, Angela Case, Aaron Meece, Lindsay (Brian) Kendrick and Evan (Audrey) Case; 7 great-grandchildren; and many friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-5 pm on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Joe's name to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. To send a special message to the family, please click on Share Memories.
