Joseph T. "Poppy" Kraft, 86, of Dayton, passed away Monday, September 15, 2014.
He was born May 31, 1928 the son of the late Joseph and Bonnie Kraft.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard K. Kraft; grandson, Daniel Kraft; son, Michael J. Kraft and daughter, Marianne Jackson.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Mary; son, Stephen P. (Zoe) Kraft; son-in-law, Joseph M. Jackson; daughter-in-law, Pati L. Kraft; grandchildren, Penny, Joseph, Stephanie, Thomas and Anna (Nick) Clary; 7 great-grandchildren and many additional family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of The Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church 411 E. 2nd St., Dayton, Ohio 45402. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or The Alzheimer's Association.
