Joseph "Joe" T. Jenkins, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, 78, of Dayton, OH passed away on August 24, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton after an extended illness while surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on April 24, 1935 in Dayton, OH, to the late Harry and Matillda (Strowbridge) Jenkins.
He retired from Montgomery County Incinerator. Joe was an avid fan of NASCAR who loved to play cards and ride his scooter.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Thomas "Mickey" Jenkins; grandson, William "Billy" James; son-in-law, Roger Griffith.
Joe is survived by his Wife of 46 years, Mrs. Linda M.(Donisi) Jenkins; Children, Teddi (Jenkins) James & Lee James, Brian Jenkins, Eunice (Jenkins) Griffith, Susan Jenkins, Joseph R. Jenkins Sr., Billi (Jenkins) Burnett; two Step-daughters; numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; his beloved dog, Corky.
