HALE, Joseph P. (Joe) age 60, of Dayton, passed away Monday, September 15, 2014. Joe was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 30, 1953 to the late George A. and Rita M. (McGinnis) Hale.

Joe has one daughter, Amanda Ramos, of Bowling Green, Ohio. Joe is survived by his siblings George Michael Hale, Rose Krebs, Mary Barry, Pat Hale, Carol Hale, Terri Eastman, Larry Hale and Amy Houlihan and their families. He was preceded in death by his brother Tom Hale. Joe leaves behind over 50 nieces and nephews.

He attended Precious Blood Elementary School and graduated from Trotwood Madison High School. He attended McPherson College on a cross country scholarship before graduating from International College in broadcast journalism. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Military Policeman. Joe was a carpenter and sportsman who enjoyed fishing, archery and hunting. Joe enjoyed politics, crossword, Sudoku and time with special friends at Grill's.

Visitation will be held at 8:00 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2014 prior to the 8:45 a.m. funeral service at Grace Baptist Church 2901 Galewood St. Kettering, OH 45420. Graveside services will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Dayton National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Joe's family to help with funeral services.
