Joseph G. Overman, age 71, a resident of Hecht's Landing on Grand Lake for the past 15 years,
passed away at his residence on Thursday, July 21. Joe was a former Dayton resident.
He was born February 9, 1945 in Waverly, Ohio, a son of the late Francis K. & Kathryn (Walker) Overman.
Surviving are his five brothers: Richard Dean (Stella Joanne) Overman, Lynn Overman, Gordon Overman,
Bill Overman and Kenny Overman, and many nieces and nephews.
Joe enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and spending time hanging out with his family and friends at Hecht's Landing.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 -10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 26 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel.
Services will begin at 10:30 Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial following at Forest Hills Cemetery, Dayton.
