MARTIN, Joseph Ricardo "Ricky" 64 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019. He was born March 1, 1955 to Fred and Melvina (Tomlison) Martin.
He was preceded in death by his son Rikki Martin, his parents Fred and Melvina Martin White and Willie White, sister Ardelia Martin Meadows, brother Ronald Martin.
Ricky leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Darlene Martin, his children Brandon Martin, Anthony and Douglas Tisdale, Latricai Campbell, Theresa, Gregory and Michael Wallace, Kimberley Martin Lewis, Angela (Ekwan) Torrence, step-mother Barbara Martin. Also surviving are his mother-in-law Lillie Campbell, sister-in-law Syreda Campbell, Nancy (Michale) Fields, Rochelle (Oran) Payne, Angela Bean, 22 grandchildren. Aunt's Joan (Duane) Pettiford, Queen White, Fenella L. Harris, uncle Joseph (Rita) Martin, numerous nieces and nephews, special friends Michael Murphy, Johnny King, Delmar Dunning, Cheryl MacGowanCarolyn Rowson, Terry Bratchette and a host of loving cousins, friends and his dog Foxy AKA Rat.
Ricky was a graduate of Fairview High School, was a US Air Force veteran, was a retiree of Wal-Mart. He was also an active member of Fort McKinley United Methodist Church.
There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends, Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at FORT MCKINLEY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 3721 West Siebenthaler Avenue, Dayton starting at 10:00 am, followed by a Celebration of his life at 11:30 am with Pastor Jon Morgan presiding.
