Joseph Craig Madden "Joe"

Joseph Craig Madden "Joe", age 67 of Miamisburg, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023 after a short battle with POEMS syndrome. He was born May 31, 1956 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Joseph and Erma Madden.
Joe is survived by his two children, Shelly (Bill) Russell and Jeremy (Peggy) Madden; six grandchildren; great grandson; two brothers, Scot (Michele) Madden and Brian (Tammie) Madden; and his beloved cats, Madison and Buster. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Joe was an avid classic car collector and motorcycle rider. He enjoyed quality time with family and friends especially attending car shows. Joe is well loved and will be deeply missed.
The family would like to bring awareness to POEMS syndrome, an extremely rare multisystem disorder. POEMS syndrome is a complex diagnosis, please consider connecting with organizations or support groups that help individuals and families with POEMS syndrome in place of flowers. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville Chapel (820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, Ohio 45459). Funeral Service will then be officiated by Pastor Tim Baker at 1:00 pm. Joe will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Cemetery (723 Upper Miamisburg Road, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342). Celebration of Life to follow at the Miamisburg Moose Lodge (2110 E Central Ave, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342).
