Joseph H. Lakin Jr., age 89, of Cattlettsburg, Kentucky, passed away on December 29, 2021. He was born on November 16, 1932 in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Mary and Joseph Lakin.
Joseph was preceded in death by first wife Joyce Ann Lakin, and second wife Katrina Lakin.
Joseph is survived by his children Deborah McCallister, Kenneth (Alene) Lakin, and Jennifer (Harold) Campbell; grandchildren Christine Hubin, Scott Rowe, Kymberly (Calvin) Koogler, and Heather Albert; and seven great grandchildren.
Joseph was a retired Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force and a veteran of Korean and Vietnam wars. He also retired from Pinkerton Security, achieving the rank of Captain.
Family would like to extend a thank you to the staff of Hospice of Dayton for their exceptional care. Private services to be held at the convenience of the family.
