Joseph Walter Kunk

Joseph Walter Kunk, 69, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021. He was born November 3, 1951, the son of the late Walter J. and Lucy J. (Meador) Kunk. He was also preceded in death by brother, Harland S. Kunk and best friend, Mike "Sluggo" West.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Shirley Kunk. Also surviving are children, Joseph (Kim) Kunk, Diane (Mike) Creech, Missy (Jason) Osborne, Rusty Coffey, Andrea Kunk; grandchildren, Dustin, Nora, Erica, Steven, Alexandria, Gavin, Sabryna, Natalie, Katie, Whitnee, Mariah, and Anthony; great-grandchildren, Gabriella and Nolan; brother, James (Cindy) Kunk; and many extended family, friends, and neighbors.
Joe's favorite pastime was spending time with family. He also enjoyed playing Friday night dominos. Joe was also an avid sports fan.
A funeral service will be held at Stratford Heights Church of God, 4419 Nelson Rd, Middletown, OH 45042, on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 1:00p.m., officiated by Pastor Ray Phillips. Friends may visit from 11:00a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery in Middletown.
